The second partnership library with BSP Financial Group Limited, was opened in Eastern Highlands Province on 14 April 2014. Once again, conveniently located on the campus grounds of the University of Goroka, this library serves the children from the surrounding communities, specifically the “Down Under” settlement and the Okiufa community which is located close by.
Children in front of their library in 2019. The library is able to welcome 80 children every day for the Early Childhood Education program in the mornings and is also open for school-age children in the afternoons.

At the opening, Robin Fleming – Group CEO of BSP said: “BSP remains committed in our support of the outstanding work that Buk bilong Pikinini does and we are proud that our sponsorship can help to establish pathways to education and literacy for children, our future leaders of Papua New Guinea. This Goroka library opening will officially be our second from a commitment of seven. We hope to have another one underway in Manus Island constructed and launched in 2014.”
