Our Advocacy

Every year in September in the lead up to International Literacy Day, Buk bilong Pikinini celebrates Literacy Week to highlight the importance and need for Library Services and Early Childhood Education in Papua New Guinea. We are extremely fortunate to have had the support of ExxonMobil PNG for more than 5 year to assist us with creating fun and educational activities for the children in our Library Learning Centres all the while advocating for our mission to help increase literacy rates in the country.
